Support Student Scholarships!

Why Donate?
With help from donations, aspirant young outdoor educators from all walks of life will have the opportunity to advance their skills, and gain the experience necessary to succeed in their field. Money raised will be put directly toward student scholarships, making professional development more accessible for people who need to budget around college tuition expenses or student loan payments.
Reaching the goal of $2,000 could take $100 off of 20 students' tuition, taking from $250 to $150.
What makes this event special?
This event is unique in the sense that it is designed specifically for college students and recent alumni. Similar events cost around $500 for three days of training, which is not realistic for someone budgeting around college tuition costs. Thanks to our gear sponsors, we have been able to provide students with all necessary equipment free of charge, as many of them cannot afford to purchase or rent their own.
What is the event?
The Northeast Collegiate Kayak Symposium is a skills and career development workshop for current and future outdoor educators, guides, and instructors. We bring in some of the best educators in the field to provide paddlers with quality coaching, as well as a safe educational experience. To learn more about this event, visit our website .
