SAVE OUR SHELTER

Hello , We are a NO -KILL NON PROFIT Rescue Shelter in Highland AR. We have been doing this for around 2 years. We have saved so many animals. and found them homes but we also have had alot of sad stories like the poor sweet German Sheppard you see in the picture. Someone threw it out at the end of our driveway .So sick and on a week end where no vet could be reached . We iv'd the dog because it was dehydrated so bad and malnutritioned. She was having difficulty breathing . I am the owner i stayed with her the entire time. The next morning she seemed better, She ate and my hopes was so high. Later that evening she took a turn for the worse and i layed beside her the entire time until she took her last breath and i think me being there comforted her and then she passed on. Eveeryone wants to hear all the success stories and we have LOTS . NO one wants to see this side of it. Now a rumor has been started that we are closed .We are only survived this long off donations. They have completely quit. We need medical supplies, food , we have 12 that need to be spayed/neutered. PLEASE HELP US !!!! Let our next post be another success story not like this one ..
