Penny's cancer treatment

This is Penny , ( My Penny from Heaven )  Penny is my best friend ! She found me severals years ago , as she wandered in front of my car , crossing the street as almost hit her . When i met her she was very bad shape , no hair and manged , emaseated , a rope burn on her neck from where she had been tied up and scars all over her face and head and apparently had been puppy farmed . As one of my rescue companion animals she is among the most precious to me !  Over the next couple years she has filled in , and her mental and physical scars seemed to fade . Penny has endured many mass removal surgeries over the last several years and several thousands of dollors in expenses . Last year in 2016 , (  2 ) of these small masses popped and bled presistantly ,  the following morning i rushed her to the vet ,  Xrays of her abdomin and a surgery were performed to remove the masses !  Several days later the pathology came back for the ( 3 ) masses , and she was diagnosed with spindal cell mass that was removed from her lower intestine and the smaller masses on rear of her right leg and on her vulva were diagnosed as as a low grade mast cell. Now ,  Penny and my father both have cancer at the same time !  I am desperate not to loose either one of them ! My father has insurance but , Penny does not and her treatments are very expensive , not to mention the suppliments and nutritional support . I am formally from law enforcement and both dad and i are veterans . I had to take a leave of absense from work to be a caregiver for both Penny and my father , as well as the rest of my dogs and our home .  I need help desparetly !!  ( I ) , ( We)  have never been in this situaltion before  , and hate to ask for help , but there is no other way around it ,  I am trying to sell all of my personal possesions in order to afford her treatments .  Any help  at all , WILL help  greatly !!  No matter how big or how small , and is VERY MUCH  appreciated !!  My Father and Penny , started chemo at the same time !!  Penny's first round of chemo was called vinblastin . During this time my Father also lost his job because of his sickness and treatment .  We have incurred extreme financial hardships .  Penny and my Father endured 12 weeks of treatment  , with chemo , diet change and physical therapy .  So dad and i worked together by borrowing money and selling anything we could to accomidate Penny and her needs as best we could financially . After her first round of chemo we tried to keep the faith and be positive , and continued her diet and activites as prescribed , and hoped that we wouldnt have any further issues or bad news  . Approximately 5 monthes ago , I discovered a small hard mass next to her lymphnode on the back of her left leg . I immediately took her to the veterinarian's .  ( 2 ) different vet's asperated the mass and diagnosed it as fat cells .. They both said watch and wait .
I told them NO way , remove it !!   So recently , as of 3 weeks ago i was finally able to put enough money together to pay for it to be removed , The surgeon removed the mass along with the lymphnode from the leg , and we waited over a week trying to stay positive and hope for the best , Unfortunately penny had been diagnosed with high grade Mast Cell Mastosis in her lymphnode system . My father and I  have been devistated ever since . Currently as i sit here and write this artical to ask for help , My father is currently in the hospital getting treatment for his cancer , and i have hopes he will be home soon ! Dad and i have spent  thousands of dollors for both his treatments and Penny's .. I am unable to work , as i am my father's caregiver as well as Penny's The bills are seemly becoming unsurmountable , every month we find it harder to cope with this hardship .. Over the last week or so i have had multiple consults with the best verteranairians i can find ,  In an attempt to cure Penny , we have spent a  large amounts of money for the consults with oncology specialists as well as holistic and dietitians . I have been told there is a silver linning in our cloud , however it will be a large financial burden . Penny started a second round of chemo last week with a chemo called Lomustine , Lomustine is very toxic to the liver and requires it to be given every 3 weeks for the forseeable future , along with constant blood work and supportive care , with diet and suppliments as well as acupuncture and laser therapy . I plan on doing everything i can to cure her and give her the best of everything i can , cause she deserves it !  I will go without food or medical care before she does . She truely is my world !!


This week i will be opening an account for the benifit of Penny , All donations will be used to treat and cure my Penny ,  to get and give her all the help she deserves .
