"KELCE" the Undercat

KELCE was transferred to Cape Atlantic C.A.T.S. from a public shelter where he had been taken by animal control. He was almost expired, no registered body temperature, and weighed 3.9 pounds. He had been without food for some time. With fluids and feedings every two hours he has survived...he's a fighter just like the Philadelphia Eagles player he has been named for.  He has been cared for round-the-clock and is gaining weight, now 5.5 pounds, but still has some serious health issues to overcome.  He had lost all muscle in his back legs so still having difficulty walking, but more serious is that he has an enlarged heart.  He has an appointment with a cardiology specialist at Red BankVet Hospital in Tinton Falls.  His vet bills are growing so any donations to help with KELCE's  care will be greatly appreciated.  Please keep this sweet cat in your thoughts and prayers.  Thank you.
