Help us Lay our Beloved father

I, Imani Sanders, decided to dedicate and create this page in honor of the man who took the title of being my father....ALBERTO SALGADO .  We were blessed to had him in our lives.  He was 23 years old when he met my Mom, Maritza (36) with 5 kids. He is the true meaning of a man/father.  He stayed with my Mom and he helped raise us and be active in all our lives.  He was a man who worked 6-7 days a week, just to take care of his FAMILY.  That was always his 1st priority.  Bert was a man who never judged no one and always help those in need.  A man who was full of life and everyone LOVED.  A man who made a promise to me, at 6 years old,  that I will never have to worry about anything as long as he lived.  A man who kept that promise since 7-4-99.  That was when my Mom and him started their lives together.   Bert fought a good fight with a lot of health issues since his 1st stroke on November 23, 2013.  Then his health just spiral downhill ever since.  In November of 2014 he was diagnosed with many other health issue like: Congestive Heart Failure, Cirrhosis of the Liver, SOB.  The final 2 weeks of his life his BP was too low, heart rate was compromised as well as his breathing.  Two days before his final breath on December 13 @ 2:13 am, when he took his last struggling breath.  God called for him, as he left a lot of LOVED ones behind.  We now have a Guardian Angel amongst us. My strongest solider, may you Rest In Paradise. We all loved you and will MISS U dearly. Thank you for stepping up to the plate and taking the title of what a real Dad is suppose to be. Thank you for holding us down and being the Man of the House and always putting Us 1st.  Sixteen and a half years of nothing but memories whether good or bad, we all will cherish, especially me.  Please continue to watch over us, up in Heaven and know that I will take over what you left behind.  Don't worry about your flesh and blood son Bebo (our brother) or Mom.  Mark my words...they will always be good... I GOTCHA!!!  You leave behind your wifey Maritza, Bebo, Imani, Omika, A'lina, step kids and as well as all your brothers, sisters, parents, aunts, uncles and many, many friends.
