On October 24th our 26 year-old daughter, Anastasia, was diagnosed with triple negative stage 2 breast cancer. She is about to begin a long journey of intensive chemo therapy, radiation therapy, and a potential double mastectomy or lumpectomy.
Anyone who knows Anastasia knows just how kind and compassionate of a person she is. It’s unfortunate that such an incredible person, who so selflessly gives to others, must endure such a life changing journey. Over the next year, Anastasia will be put on Family Medical Leave without pay during her time of treatment. Accompanied with this emotional and physical battle, Anastasia will be faced with an insurmountable amount of medical debt.
These are a few examples of what the funds raised will help pay for:
-Medical treatment costs (chemotherapy, radiation and testing)
-Any and all procedures necessary to help protect her fertility from the toxicity of chemotherapy
-Surgeries and Reconstruction
