To whom it may concern,
We represent a charitable foundation called Helping Hands for Sierra Leone. We have been doing missions and humanitarian work in Sierra Leone West Africa for seven years helping people in need. We have done charitable events ranging from back pack drives for school children to week long medical checkups for the local residents. Helping Hands for Sierra Leone is currently working with Main Line Health and we were featured in Delaware County Daily Times (http://www.delcotimes.com/general-news/20140816/riddle-hospital-donates-beds-to-ebola-ravaged-sierra-leone). The conditions in West Africa has gone from bad to worse with the recent Ebola outbreak and the people are desperate for medical and basic supplies that are needed for everyday functionality and survival. Helping Hands for Sierra Leone, is on a mission to change the minds, living and medical conditions in Sierra Leone. Our aim is to bring hope to the people of Sierra Leone. WE NEED YOUR HELP.
We ask for a few minutes of your time for our representatives to speak to your organization about our cause. We collect everything from band aids to x-ray machines, from used clothing to used sheets, from soap to detergents; and accept donations. The difference with our organization is that we do the work ourselves and get the products directly to the people. We document and video tape our drives and bring the events back to our donors so they are able to see the work we do and the lives they’ve affected.
Due to the outpouring support from Main Line Health and the surrounding community we are currently accepting donations to fund the shipment of items already collected.
