http://bambuser.com/v/5058429 I was attacked by protesters at a Church because they thought I was live streaming and I wasn't. There was a meeting at 9950 Glen Owen Dr. St. Louis, Mo, alot o us attended the meeting as they were supposed to be discussions of how to lead future protests. When I first walked in they said live streaming was not allowed. I sat for about 40 minutes listening to the discussion and then people started to move away for the pew I was sitting in. I knew alot of the people their from previous interview and seeing them at the protests and thought many were nice. I had my phone out but it was just in my hand and all of the sudden 1 person shouted he is livestreaming and pointed at me. Then about 5 people rushed me and started pushing me to the door, they also ripped the phone from my hands along with the charging cable. Then they threw me against the exit door and I fell outside. I was then hit a couple times in the head and face. I fell to the ground. I then almost lost consciousness but looked up at 5 people who were punching and kicking me. I blocked many punches with my arm and hand and I got kicked severely in the stomach and sides and back. I was also kicked in the legs. Then about 5-8 people said "Stop stop" and they surrounded me to protect me and then they pointed at the street and said run! I started to run and stood in the center of oncoming traffic but no one stopped to help. Event the nonviolent church people did not call 911. I then knocked on several homes and asked people to call 911 and no one did. I kept running and saw some of those who beat me at a local convenience store so I kept running. I then had one person who beat me drive up in a car and try to pick me up. I then kept running. Out of breathe and almost unconscious and beaten I saw a walgreens and headed towards it. I finally made it and collapsed in the entrance and said call 911 call 911 about 10 times. About 3 employees did nothing. I ran to the back where the photo guy was and asked him to call 911. He did. After that I called 911 again. In 1 minute 5 cops and 2 paramedics showed up. I could barely explain the story but explained in short bursts all that had happened. I was immediately taken on a stretcher to the ambulance and was asked many more questions of which I don't remember, and I couldnt breath at all. I was given a breathing aparatus. Finally we arrived to the hospital and I was treated for and examined and given CT scans and Chest Scans. I was given other treatment but I don't remember. The bills will be at least $2200 to cover and I am unable to do so. I was covering live protests and protecting everyone involved. Free speech is important and cameras are a way to prevent people from getting hurt.
