The Dickerson Family

July 24, 2022 a mother & a father got a call that every parent prays they never receive. George & Candace Dickerson had their lives forever changed in the blink of an eye. They lost their son, their little boy, their baby, Blake Thomas, from injuries he sustained in an automobile accident.

They're now faced with unexpected financial strains that they never in a million years thought they'd have to endure in their lifetime. The reality that they're having to make funeral arrangements for their handsome, loved by all, curly headed, full of life, little boy has yet to set in. After all, how does one even begin to process a loss of this magnitude...The loss of your child?

We wanted to find a way to maybe help make this a bit more bearable. We're asking you, our community & anyone else this may reach outside our little hometown, to help alleviate the monetary uncertainty this family is facing. Whatever you are able to give would allow them to celebrate their sons life without the financial worry.

Their lives are forever changed & will never be the same. Let's give to this family so they can give their son a funeral every parent would HOPE to be able to give to their child. George & Candace have two other children, Kaleigh Dickerson & Madison Southerland, in which they're trying to remain as strong as possible for through this most grievous time.

Blake was the son every parent would be proud to call their own. He was a brother every sibling would love to argue, fuss & pick with because that's what siblings who love one another do. He was a friend that a select few was blessed to call their best friend. At only 16 years old Blake was already a hard worker. He & his best friends, Peyton & Matt, on their days off from work could be found dropping a line in whatever fishing hole they could find. When they weren't fishing they were riding 4-wheelers or dirt bikes. They weren't troublemakers. They didn't like confrontation but they always had one another's back if someone dared to cross them. Blake truly helped to bring the best out in everyone around him. He was the son every Mother & Father would be proud to call their own & George & Candace are more than proud that he is theirs!

PLEASE, Give what you can, no amount is too small & if you can't give monetarily PLEASE pray for this family & the days they have yet to face.
