Hi, I’m Nikki, Ziggy’s owner.

Ziggy was my late mum’s dog, and after she passed I adopted him. He is known to be a very emotional boy, and loves to stare directly into your eyes. He then proceeds to give kisses (sometimes an uncomfy amount), but it is always very welcomed. Zig is an otherwise very healthy boy, and loves to run after (and destroy) his toys. After posting about Ziggy’s recent cancer diagnosis on Instagram, I got messages asking if I was taking donations; hence this GoFundMe.

I recently found a lump on Ziggy’s nose, which I had removed and tested. This is when I was told that it was a Mast Cell Tumour. We then had it removed and further testing was done that found it has spread to his lymph nodes. This was all quite costly, and has drained my available funds for his upcoming treatment. Zig’s surgery is booked for Tuesday, which I have been quoted around $4,800 for. After that, he will undergo some chemo to ensure all the cancer cells have been removed.

I am not asking for this amount AT ALL, just anything you’re willing to contribute to help support his treatment costs.

If he is able to get this treatment and all goes well, Zig will be able to live many more happy years (destroying toys, of course)!
