Ron Dumonski and Barb (Renaud) Holtzman - home lost to fire

Hi my name is Ashley and I’m a friend and old neighbour.

On Thursday July 31, 2025 the unimaginable happened. Ron Dumonski and Barb (Renaud) Holtzman lost their home to a fire.

Thankfully both Ron and Barb and their dog are safe but the rest is gone.

These two are such a huge part of our Dorion/hurkett and area communities.

Barb has been a school bus driver for over 40 years!

Ron and Barb were always there for my husband and I when we lived next door, no matter the time they were there. That goes for anyone who needed a helping hand.

Many laughs, memories, and friendships were made in this home with many people.

Please help in anyway you can whether that’s simply sharing this or monetary donations.

The things lost cannot be replaced but thankfully the most important are still here with us.
