Praying For Greg

Greg Smalley is a man of God, a doting husband, and a wonderful father. On July 6th while body surfing with his son Xander in Cancun, Greg was rolled over by a wave crashing him into the ocean floor and breaking his neck. When he surfaced, his 8 year old son held his head out of the water while calling for help, simultaneously becoming a hero and saving his father's life! Greg was pulled from the water from some Mexican Angels who cared for him, while Xander ran to get April.  By the time she returned to Greg, paramedics were on the scene caring for Greg. He was rushed to a hospital where emergency surgery was performed, expertly fusing C4, C5, and C6.  Greg was MediVaced to Vanderbilt in Nashville and is currently being treated.  Greg will ultimately be moved to Shepard's in Atlanta for rehabilitation.
