Devin & Alissa Tessers Medical Bill
Donation protected
This is the Tessers Family. Mom: Alissa, Dad: Devin, and Marley: the little love of their life. They are a very loving young family and like many, struggle to make ends meet. Both Alissa and Devin have full time jobs. Devin is a carpenter's apprentice and Allisa works for the University of Utah in their customer service/billing dept.
On Aug. 3rd, 2015 Alissa gave birth to what would have been their third child. Sawyer Drake came into the world at 5:12 a.m. weighing 6 lbs, 8 oz, 19" long. There was great joy. Alissa had a healthy pregnancy and so no complications were expected. Soon he was wisked off to the NICU as his oxygen levels were low. Then the doctor thought his heart valves were working opposite of what they should be and he was flown by Life Flight up to Primary Childrens's Hospital. Devin flew in the helicopter with Sawyer while Alissa remained at Jordan Valley Hospital trying to get an early release to go be with her baby. After a very "speedy" trip up to PMCH, Alissa arrived in time to hold her precious baby boy. Not long after their little boy was born he was with the angels.
For a young family on a limited income to begin with, the non-covered insurance medical costs (like Life Flight) are going to be astronomical. If that were all they had, they could, with a payment plan and help from relatives make it. But that is not the whole story. . .
. . . Almost 2 years ago on Sept. 24th, 2013, Quinn Lucy Tessers was born. She was premature and lived for a short little time and she also died in her mommy and daddy's arms. They are still paying for that tragedy.
Alissa and Devin have been through the worst nightmare any parents could experience...TWICE. They will both need some care themselves to get through this. It would be nice if finances were not an added strain. Any little bit you can help with the medical bills of this young family would be greatly appreciated.
Alissa's older brother Daniel Yates and mother Janean Yates will be administrators to this campaign.
