Help Us Resettle a Refugee Family

Many of you are familiar with my volunteer work with refugees in Charlotte who have fled from the Taliban. I have been actively involved since the first families were settled here in early 2022. Most refugees had to flee their home after the Taliban took over in August 2021 due to their work with the US military. Others fled due to religious persecution that put their lives at risk from the Taliban and, for some, their relatives.

Rusty and I have learned about Christian families in refugee centers in Pakistan who are vetted and able to come to the US with our sponsorship and we have the privilege of heading a team to bring this Christian refugee family to Charlotte. Two other teams are also working to bring two other Christian families to Charlotte as well. Our hope is to make a huge difference in the lives of these families and establish the beginning of a Christian community in Charlotte. Will you please help us by contributing to my GoFundMe?
