Baby Amalia Is Fighting For Her Life

We're at a loss for words right now...
Our baby girl Amalia was born at 24 weeks gestation and is currently in critical condition at Monash NICU.
Born as a micro premi baby weighing 411grams, is affecting Amalia's development.
She has been battling many critical health challenges and right now breathing is her biggest challenge.
In the long term, we don't know how bad her health will be, what she will be facing, nor for how long. Doctors have advised that Amalia may need medical treatment for the rest of her life.
We know that every family has their struggle and this isn't our first and it certainly won't be our last.
2 years ago we lost our baby girl Anastasia at 24 weeks gestation and since then we've had more miscarriages than we can count.
On the 16th of December 2019 Amalia was welcomed into the world, 16 weeks early, and has showed so much courage and strength.
Every part of her little body has been poked & prodded.
In her short life so far, she has had many moments where doctors told us she wasn't going to make it.
But she has kept defying the odds.
We all have a long road ahead of us. Especially Amalia, her life will be different and the day to day will be a lot more challenging.
Providing life saving medical equipment and ongoing treatment is going to be costly for our family.
Mum and dad have had to stop work to be there for our little girl.
We are calling for the support of the greater community.
