(REVISED VERSION)!!!
I write to you today with a life update and an unreasonable request! I am on the other side my nuptials, Honeymoon, and complete with a long string of strung together pieces that have had me hustling since I’ve moved to Austin. (If I’m really truthful with myself and you, I’ve been hustling since day one of my business back in 2004). If you know me well, you know that I W O R K for it. This past month I have more deeply reflected on what it is that I can do or be to allow the support that those in my world need and can benefit from. I came up with 2 answers... #1. ACCESS The people who I’ve been gifted and fortunate to work with need ACCESS to my support. I long to continue to be a trusted pillar of support for those who I have been so fortunate to develop a strong connection with in CO and beyond. Finding a trusted healer that makes you feel safe and that you resonate with is a treasure. I intend on finding my way to broadening Synchronicity's business structure to allow ACCESS, g l o b a l l y. {{Backstory}} Since the beginnings of Synchronicity, to work with me requires being in the same physical space at the same time through massage or in-person yoga classes. For some time now, I have been aiming to transition my business to expand beyond private massage sessions, weekly yoga classes and retreats. While I feel so much fulfillment by these experiences and absolutely recognize the privilege in being able to even hold these kind of spaces, the fact is that I have outgrown this container and want to create an on-going opportunity to continue to weave the visceral, experiential and verbal conversations through videos, trainings and workshops so that there is ACCESS to my content, wherever you live! So, here I am and I am finally READY to make this change! Fortunately, 2 years ago I made a wise choice to invest into membership with a Denver-based leadership organization called Self-Leadership Global. Here I have access to various business-building tools and support to help me with this process. It’s an amazing organization and I am SO GRATEFUL to be a lifetime member as a result of investing early on. I am ready to do the work that only I can do and utilize the tools to transform Synchronicity! There is just one other piece missing... #2. MY TEACHER I feel that when we are a space holder, it’s important to be connected to someone who is a step beyond yourself who can not only be a guide, but also hold an accountability mirror for the times in the growth process one becomes resistant, stagnant etc. The first class that I attended of Gina Caputo's, she talked about farting. I was smitten and knew that this was a teacher that was willing to get R E A L and be a R O L E M O D E L for those who are interested in living their yoga. I am asking for funding support, pledges and sponsors to participate in her 300HR advanced yoga teacher training. These costs cover the full training which I know will be a GAME CHANGER!!!! With your support, I will have a chance to sit with and learn from one of the best teachers in the world of Western yoga. She is humble, funny, unashamed of her humanity and just exceptionally terrific. My commitment from this process is to anchor and weave the practices of yoga into my offerings with more therapeutic understanding so that people can learn the art of self healing. This is a BIG ASK for and from me! I understand that not all have the means to share at this point in time. But for those who do and genuinely feel inspired to support this opportunity, I would LOVE to thank you with some support that will come directly from this training!!
