Frank was an amazing husband, father, uncle, brother, son and friend. He always lit up the room with his presence and always made everyone laugh, even while he could not speak very well during his illness. I’d like to share his journey and remembrance of the beautiful life he has lived.  

From a simple pain on his side we would later discover it developed as tumors on his left kidney. Frank was diagnosed with cancer on 12/2022. Eventually this was removed however, the cancer had spread to his right lung. Treatment then began at which Frank began to experience side effects.

In January 2025, his remaining kidney started failing. After 3 months without treatment, doctors found cancer had spread to his left lung. He started his 2nd line of treatment. We were hopeful and we prayed every day for it work. Then, he had an unexpected tear in his small intestine. An emergency surgery was conducted to remove his intestine.  

By December 2025, Frank started his 3rd line of treatment, but unfortunately his kidney began failing and he got pneumonia. He was in and out of the hospital which then he developed pulmonary edema (fluid in the lungs). He continued dialysis and radiation treatments however, this ultimately stopped working.

On January 30, 2026 Frank passed away after battling kidney cancer for over 3 years. He fought till the very end for his family. Through all the treatments, appointments, and hospitalizations he showed tremendous strength so he could be with his family and friends as long as he could.
