Help Yati get her house back

Hi friends and family, we are setting up this fundraiser for our lovely helper Yati - who seems to be plagued by constant bad luck and family betrayal.

She has been tirelessly saving for 3 years to build a house for her family in Indonesia - most of the house structure is built so her parents and granddaughter can live there but there is still plenty to do to finish it.

Unfortunately her daughter stole the deed to the house and faked her identity to take out a $4000 loan against it. This may not sound like much but the interest is 10% PER MONTH. Since she found out about the debt a month ago, it is now $6500. We are supporting her to pay this off and get her house back. However we seem to just solve one problem before another crops up and she never gets even slightly ahead.

She works incredibly hard and always with a smile on her face despite her dire circumstances. She is due to go back to Indonesia later this month and meet her baby granddaughter for the first time and hopefully secure the deed to her house. We know this is taking an incredibly stressful toll on her and with everyone’s help want to finally bring her some financial relief so she can actually get ahead.

She is an amazing baker (cakes, donuts, sourdough etc) so she would be very happy to repay any donation in baked goods as well.
