VIETNAM MEDICAL MISSION TRIP

I am a mother of seven grown children and I'm a Registered Nurse. I have wanted to participate in a mission trip for the last 35 years and I finally have an opportunity to travel to Vietnam/Thailand with TongueOut.org and my oldest daughter.  An opportunity of a lifetime!

This is primarily a medical missionary team that sets up clinics so doctors can provide care for people in remote villages and perform cataract surgeries at the local hospitals to help the villagers regain their eye sight. 

I will also get to participate in providing human interaction to infants and children who are  victims of Agent Orange, disabled, or abandon and living in orphanages. We will also provide love and support for victims of leprosy.

 A donation of 38.00 will pay for cataract surgery and the gift of sight for a blind villager. Other funds will help pay the cost of medications, medical supplies, diapers, formula, clothing and toys. 

I am so excited to serve with this team to use my nursing skills and show the love of Christ  to people by caring for their basic human needs. We leave July 24th 2019 and the total cost of the trip is 2240.00.
