BAM BAM NEEDS HELP.

BAMBAM- the boxer (7 years old)

(mid February 2022) he just stopped being able to get up on his own. And when he did it took about 5 to 10 mins and a lot of pain. If you know boxers they’re full of energy until they’re well into their senior years. He has no energy. We took him in to paws and claws and they thought it was just a hip arthritis and sent him home after giving us over $2000 worth of meds for him. He didn’t get better. Next step we did is a JOINT TAP That is cost us another $1200 along with strong steroids being given. Hes had multiple blood tests and X-rays that aren’t showing up with anything. He’s been on Prednisone since February and he’s not getting any better. He pisses himself and now has a UTI because of it as he wakes up in puddles of pee. He has completely changed as a dog in a short 9 months.

today 11/9/22 he couldn’t get up at all. Even after his medication this morning.

the next steps are MRI which is $4000 dollars for his whole body to see if it’s nerve or spinal cord damage

So just seeing him in pain has caused a lot of stress. For him and us.

my career never recovered from Covid and my savings is completely gone.

I worked 2 jobs since last December to focus on healing my dogs. All the money from my savings and those jobs are gone to vet bills.

Anything will help . Please share so I can Get the best treatment for him and not have to sign him over.

I am ashamed for having to ask for help. But I need help.

He is my son, I cannot Have kids naturally and this is the closest I’m going to get.
