My Trip back to Myanmar Orphans
Donation protected
Please help me visit and help our friends in Myanmar.
Calvary Global Kids supports over 160 children at 4 different orphanages around Yangon, Myanmar.
*54 million people live in Myanmar.
*The average yearly income is $1400.
*1 in 3 live below the poverty line.
*Many families are simply unable to care for their children.
For the past two years, Andrea and I have each had the opportunity to be a part of a team from Calvary Church to go and visit the orphanages that we support in Myanmar. This year I plan to go again and am hoping you can help me to bless the children there.

What will your donation do?
There are many ways your donation will help the children.
First, it will help to pay the expenses for our trip. While direct donations and sponsorships are fantastic ways to bless or friends, they have consistently and adamantly told us over the years that visits are most important.
To children that have no family, or have been separated due to financial hardships, being shown that people from all the way on the other side of the world love them enough to come and spend time with them, means everything.
Second, we take TONS of stuff with us. Shipping to the remote locations of the orphanages is just not possible so this is our opportunity to deliver clothes, healthcare supplies, vitamins, and many other items. Your donation will go to directly pay for the items we take along.
And finally, as you know, Andrea and I are photographers. After each of our previous trips we've been able to use our photographs to help raise the visibility of Calvary Global Kids. After my first trip we did a complete overhaul of the website, please take some time to check it out at calvaryglobalkids.org . Images have been used on calendars, at a local coffee shop, at our studio, at fundraisers at our church and in the community, and Last year Andrea updated all the sponsorship photos for the kids!
Final thoughts
I know there are a ton of ways you can donate your money and it can be hard to choose so thank you for even considering. I LOVE these kids and can tell you that every penny is put to use for them and desperately needed.
Thank you,
Joel
