Please Help Fund my Stem Cell treatment

Hi! My name is Allie, and I am fundraising for a stem cell treatment that will potentially change my life, but in order to make that happen, I need help fundraising. So I would like to share some of my story with you.

In December 2017, I caught a harmful virus, and my life has not been the same. I was sick from December-March. My immune system has become progressively weaker; I have had five surgeries for my chronic condition and over fifty emergency room visits and admissions. In May, I graduated with my Master's in Social Work and took the licensure exam to become an LSW. I got my dream job working as a children's counselor at the Domestic Violence Shelter, and I love what I do. I am currently working on obtaining my clinical hours and supervision to sit for my LCSW exam.

I have a lot of dreams and have worked really hard to get where I am. I completed most of my Master's program from a hospital room via Zoom, and graduated with an almost perfect GPA. I was supposed to start my counselor job in the second week of August, and had to postpone because I spent 16 days in the hospital with COVID. Twenty-nine days after I started my job, I contracted COVID again, and this time was out of work for 23 days and working remotely, while having another stay in the hospital. I have continued to have flare-ups since, and have missed multiple work weeks due to hospitalizations and procedures that treat my symptoms, but not the underlying problem. I have worked in my position for three months, and have run out of PTO and sick leave.

I had a phone consultation today for treatment out of the country that could eliminate all of my symptoms. To do that treatment, I will need to take a month off of work and leave the country for 28 days of treatment. I request that you share my fundraiser and donate if you are able. This treatment can keep me out of the hospital and let me return to the life that I knew before my illness, and be able to continue to work in a field that I love.
