Hello!

With winter approaching, many of our unhoused neighbors in Richmond are struggling to stay warm and clean. I wanted to do something small but meaningful to help, so I’m putting together winter care kits with a few small essentials that can make a hard season a little easier.

Each kit will include:

• 1 Mylar thermal blanket (82” x 52”)

• 1 poncho

• 1 toothbrush + 1 toothpaste tube (0.6 oz.)

• 5 body wipes

• 2 packs of hand warmers

• 1 tube of lotion (0.7 oz.)

• 1 lip balm

• 1 pair of thermal socks

• 1 granola bar

• 1 water bottle (16.9 fl. oz.)

• 1 trash bag (13 gallon)

• 1 drawstring bag

• 1 handwritten note

My friends and I will be assembling and distributing them locally this winter.

I’m asking for help to cover the cost of the supplies and continue this project through the colder months. Every $4 helps create a kit. 100% of the donations will go directly toward supplies.
