Gender Alignment Surgery

My name is Emma Hartley and I am a 20-year old trans girl with intense bottom dysphoria. For years, even before realizing I am trans, I would dream of waking up in the morning and finding myself suddenly a girl. I would be crushed and distraught each time. I hated what I saw in the mirror. I disliked shopping and found myself depressed whenever I needed to update my clothes. People would compliment me all the time on how handsome I was and I would cry inside. I didn't realize at the time that I was a girl stuck in a boy's body.

I struggled for a long time to accept who I am. The world is a scary place for people who are different. It's especially scary for transgender people. So many bills are being introduced to limit our care and acceptance. I have my first consultation for bottom surgery this June and I am so excited about taking steps to realize my true self. But here's the thing - it's really expensive.

While I am still on my mom's health insurance, there is no guarantee it will be covered. Currently our health insurance provider is fighting to have trans care NOT covered. The case is in court so it could go either way. My family is so supportive and will help as much as possible but disposable income is limited. My mom fought off a very aggressive breast cancer a few years back and my father recently moved out so we are now a single income household. Our world has been turned upside down but I need to keep on this goal so I have a way forward. I need my world and myself to make sense

I recently received a date for my surgery, being March 12th, 2024. With this date rapidly approaching and money being very tight, any money would be greatly appreciated. Funds will be used exclusively for affording bottom surgery and all remaining funds will be donated directly to a charity for trans teens.
