Engineering Program @ UMD

My name is Walter, I am a junior at Capital City Public Charter School. I applied to the Terp Young Scholars Program  at  the University of Maryland, which essentially is a summer program where I will be given the opportunity to earn college credits during my stay and learn more about the college experience.  Deadline to pay for the program is April 20th, 2018. About me and why I chose this program I love technology. The thought that it is constantly evolving amazes me.  In the future I want to pursue a career in the field of engineering. Until this year when my school implemented an Intro to Design Class, I've never had the opportunity of knowing what an engineer really does. I registered for the Introduction to Engineering Design. Taking this course over the summer at UMD will enhance my views about the college environment, also gain more knowledge of what it means to be an engineer, in addition, this program will assist me in deciding which field of engineering I want to major in. Program costs: Course Tuition: $ 1,080 Campus Student Services Fee: $ 270 Residential Program Fee: $ 1,200 Total of $ 2,550 The rest of the money will go to the UMD's and the GoFundme's organization online processing fees.
