In It Together: A Walk for Inclusion

CoMO SEPTA is a local 501(c)(3) PTA that provides support and resources to families and educators of children with special needs in the entire Columbia Public School District and surrounding area. CoMO SEPTA has the benefit of supporting students through educational opportunities, developing after school social activities with peer mentors, grants to teachers, workshops, resources, fostering inclusion and being a collective voice for special education needs.
In an effort to support our children, CoMO SEPTA is hosting our first annual walk, “In It Together: A Walk for Inclusion” on August 31, 2019 at Cosmo Park Lamb Shelter area from 9 am to noon. The walk will start at 10am.
Refreshments and games will be provided – just bring yourself and your loved ones!
This walk will help educate the community about different abilities, bring awareness to their needs in our schools and most importantly will be a wonderful, family friendly event about inclusion.
Register for the walk at https://comosepta.com/walk-registration/ . The walk is free to attend; however, donations of $15 or more received by August 21st will receive a walk T-shirt as a gift for your donation. Each additional family member donation of $10 will also receive a free walk T-shirt.
