Hi everyone,

I’m Martin — and this cause really matters to me because I’m an ex-soldier, formerly of the Royal Engineers.

After leaving the service, I fell on hard times. The Royal British Legion was there for me when I needed it most, supporting me in ways I can’t fully thank them for. That’s why I’ve decided to give back: in just a few weeks, I’ll be taking on a solo walk of Hadrian’s Wall to raise funds for this incredible charity.

I’m not asking for the world — just whatever you can spare. Times are tough for everyone right now, but even 50p makes a difference; every penny adds up and goes directly to helping others who’ve served, just like the Legion helped me.
