Our community is in desperate need of quality childcare. Parents are having to leave their children in sub par care or having to leave the workforce in order to ensure their kids are cared for. Horror stories of negligent care have been rampant in our local news and centers have been closing down, leaving families scrambling for care.
After nearly 7 years of running a successful and amazing home preschool program, Organic Kids, it has come time to expand to meet the needs of our community. We are looking for funding to get us off the ground to create an amazing place for our community's children to grow and play. Currently Organic Kids employs a combination of early childhood education philosophies and indoor and outdoor learning environments that cater to the interests and needs of each individual child. We offer primarily organic and vegetarian foods. We have an organic garden of which the children are encouraged to be a part of the growing, harvesting, and consuming process, and as much as possible have their diets consist of locally grown organic foods. Now we need your help to expand this program to offer these great experiences to more families in our community.
I have been the director and head teacher of Organic Kids for nearly 7 years and have worked in the field of Early Childhood Education for over 12 years. The knowledge from my degrees in the field and my experience provide great tools to build quality programs for the families here in our community. Please help me make this dream of better care for our kids a reality and help fund our Organic Kids expansion.
