I'm Lisa Bradshaw,

I spoke with my friend from school Gina King Werner she is a fellow Graduate of Dupont High School. We are both mothers and grandmothers. She told me about her sweet granddaughter Vivian and her parents Jessica and Brandon Oettel and their family. I've been praying and watching as this sweet momma fights for her baby girl. I felt led to reach out. I know our school friends are amazing and I love watching the children and little ones. And we are very fortunate to live in a community where we are all still part of each other's lives. We have shared our stories and loved on each other's children and grandchildren and I can honestly say I couldn't have asked for better people than those we have gone to school with. I'm asking all of our Dupont High School friends if you can help in any way please do if only to share this Go Fund Me and prayers for the entire family. This is going to be a long battle. Things have gotten worse this week and VIVIAN NEEDS ALL OF US AT THIS TIME she has developed a fungal infection in her lungs and her white blood count has become very low. Yesterday she had a bit of good news, a biopsy showed no cancer in her bone marrow but this is going to be a very long road. They thought they would be home soon but have found out that she will be in the hospital for MONTHS on IV antibiotics to fight the infection. They are tired and weary at minimum. Jessica is missing her other children but as we all know she can't leave her baby and Vivian is missing family and friends. Your prayers first and foremost for her and her family to have strength and comfort knowing she has support in this battle going forward. They also have their faith and Vivian is a little fighter I'm told. If you are following Jessica or Gina you know that Vivian was diagnosed with Lymphoma in November after a bout of what was thought to be flu, she was immediately admitted to Tristar Centennial children's Hospital and began a minimum of 2 yrs of Chemotherapy. Now infection an infection.

I'm sure they can use our help if it, 's meals or money to pay ongoing medical bills. If you can help at all it is appreciated. There have been fundraisers and T-shirt sells. But it's getting harder and if we all give a little it will mean a lot to this family. This week has been heavy here in Nashville and heavy on my heart.
