Medical & Funeral Expenses

This fundraiser will close on September 30th, 2020.
Victor Kuo died June 18, 2020 in Seattle, Washington. After a heart attack on Vivian's final day of second grade, he was in the Cardiothoracic ICU for advanced heart failure. Victor was making a promising recovery when he had a hemorrhagic stroke, a side effect of the life support machines.
The treatment costs of advanced heart failure can be significant. Initial conversations with the UW Physicians and Medical Center reveal initial fees of over $12,000 from the doctors' side and half a million dollars from the hospital side, before insurance. A friend suggested starting a GoFundMe campaign so we have established one for $25,000 for support with medical expenses.
After the pandemic, we will host a celebration of Victor's life. It will be June 18, 2022 (the two year death anniversary) at the Edmonds Waterfront Center in Edmonds, Washington. For more information, go to www.celebratevictor.com.
Thank you for your love, consideration and kindness,
