VFC London: Emergency Relief for Flood Survivors, Nepal
0% complete
£6,326 raised of
62 donations
On 26 August 2026, a catastrophic flash flood tore through Nepal's Rasuwa district after a glacier collapse sent a wall of water, ice, and rock crashing down the Trishuli and Bhote Koshi river valleys. Villages including Timure, Syabrubesi, Ghattekhola and many others were devastated in minutes. Hundreds of lives have been lost, many more remain missing, and entire communities have lost their homes, roads, and access to basic services.
Among those affected is the village of our Senior Pastor, Timothy, of VFC London. Pastor Timothy is originally from Rasuwa and is currently on the ground in Nepal, where his own village has been heavily impacted. Many of his village members, families and relatives are still unaccounted for — including his own brother and sister-in-law, who remain missing. Amid this personal loss, Pastor Timothy is personally caring for survivors — many of them children and elderly people — who urgently need help.
We are launching this campaign, led by Pastor Timothy, to provide direct emergency relief to these survivors.
The current urgent needs are:
- Food
- Medicine
- Clothing
- Shelter
- Other basic necessities
100% of donations will go directly to the Mission Fund account of VFC London Church, ensuring support reaches those who need it most, without delay.
Please give generously and share this campaign. Every contribution — big or small — helps bring relief to families who have lost everything, and to a pastor searching for his own missing loved ones. Your prayers are also deeply appreciated during this difficult time.
"Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress..." — James 1:27
