Hi, my name is Jane, and I’m asking for help for my cousin Cindy and her daughter Michaela, who has spina bifida and has been in the hospital since December. Fortunately she’s coming home but cannot return to the motor home where they live. The lift on Cindy’s very old van is not working, and no one is able to fix it. Cindy has been to three places. Also because the motor home is not a suitable place for Michaela to receive the extensive care she continues to require, Cindy has had to relocate to a hotel, spending money she does not have. Any funds given will go directly to paying the hotel bill, not to Michaela’s medical bills.

Let me add that Cindy is the most amazing mom I know. As a single woman, she adopted and raised two baby girls with spina bifida. Sadly, Megan passed away a few years ago. Michaela, in her early twenties, is a blessing to everyone she meets. She’s an angel!
