As you may or may not have heard this past week, severe flooding has swept through Central Vietnam. It’s one of the most devastating floods in the history that hasn’t happened in over 100 years in central Vietnam. It destroyed many homes and washed away belongings, leaving many families with nothing. Many families—especially children and older adults—are now struggling without basic necessities such as clean water, food, medicine, and safe shelter.
My family and loved ones in Khanh Hoa, Vietnam have been deeply impacted. My aunts’ and uncles’ homes were flooded within minutes; the flood depth was estimated to be 5 feet or more. Their village is further out in the rural area, so they couldn’t receive help in time. They were forced to climb to rooftops to shelter, and a few sheltered in a neighbor’s home 2nd story. All their crops, farm animals, and what they worked for years have been lost overnight. The emotional and financial burden is overwhelming.
My immediate family alone has sent support to as many families as we could. However, there are way more families in the rural village that need help. With deep gratitude, I’m reaching out to ask for your assistance. Every donation will go directly toward:
• Emergency food and clean drinking water
• Clothing, blankets, basic hygiene supplies, and essential medicine
• Support to repair homes and replace lost belongings
Your kindness can help them rebuild and find hope during this difficult time.
Any amount of donation will provide immediate relief. A few dollars can help buy a meal, clean water, or essential supplies or medicine. A larger contribution can help a family begin repairing their home or replacing lost necessities like bedding, clothing, and school supplies.
• Please Share
Even if you cannot donate at this time (which I totally understand), sharing this fundraiser with others can make a tremendous difference. The more people who see this, the more families we can help.

My family and I appreciate your help from the bottom of our hearts.
