Hi everyone, my name is Peace, and I am a final-year international student at the University of Manitoba.

Thanks to your incredible support, I was able to raise $11,206 on my GoFundMe for my Fall 2025 semester tuition, which is now fully paid. I am so grateful for every donation.

I am reaching out once again to ask for your support in paying off my Winter 2026 tuition of $7,543.73, which is required for me to register for my final course in the Summer 2026 semester and graduate this year.I have updated my GoFundMe goal to reflect this amount. The deadline is February 4, 2026, and it is approaching very quickly.

Once my Winter tuition is paid, I will update the GoFundMe goal to reflect my Summer 2026 tuition balance of approximately $2,500. I will also be exploring other financial resources to help cover this amount, but I will still need support to fully complete my degree and be able to attend my graduation ceremony in October.

At this moment, my most urgent priority is covering my Winter 2026 tuition by February 4, 2026, so that I can register for my final course and continue toward graduation.

I am currently registered for 5 courses this winter, and I only have 1 course left to finish in the summer. Despite facing many challenges along the way, I have worked incredibly hard to reach this point. Knowing I am almost at the finish line gives me hope and motivation to keep going.

As an international student, I work part-time, but my income only covers my rent and living expenses. I have been paying tuition on my own for a long time, but I can no longer manage it alone.

I have explored every possible option to raise this money, but nothing has worked. I have reached out to the school for help but they keep saying no to all my requests. The financial resources for international students are very limited, which is why I turned to GoFundMe as a last resort to keep my dream alive.

My study permit expires in September 2026, which makes this urgent. I need to pay off my winter and summer tuition before then to finish my degree and participate in the graduation ceremony in October 2026.

This isn’t just school for me, it’s my future, and it’s my family’s hope. I have worked so hard for this degree, and I refuse to give up. This is a promise I made to myself: no matter how hard it gets, I will keep fighting.

Please keep reposting my link, my videos on tiktok (my tiktok is peacesundayy) and donating to my GoFundMe, as I still need all the help I can get to be able to finish my degree and graduate on time. I need to pay off the winter 2026 semester before March 31st, so that I can be allowed to register for my Summer 2026 semester. Then, the next step will be to raise and pay off the Summer 2026 tuition, before I will be allowed to graduate from university.

As I mentioned in my story below (please scroll down to read my full story), I just have 6 courses left to graduate. I will be taking 4 courses in winter 2026 and 2 courses in summer 2026.

To support my winter 2026 tuition, I will also be exploring other financial resources such as payment plans with the school and loans, etc.

I have asked the school already for a payment plan for the winter 2026 semester or deferred payment, and they said they don't offer that during the winter semester but I have until 31st March to pay it off so that I can be allowed to register for the summer 2026 semester. Summer 2026 registration starts around late March.

I will be in communication with the school and make sure I have exhausted all my options. If the financial resources don't work out, I will still be actively fundraising for the final semesters. But I am taking it one step at a time, and I will keep everyone updated throughout the whole journey.

My study permit expires in September 26th, 2026. I’m expected to finish my degree in summer 2026 and have my graduation ceremony in Fall 2026 (September/October). So I want to make sure I finish paying off my winter 2026 and summer 2026 tuition, so that my graduation does not get delayed and I don’t have immigration issues.

Hi, my name is Peace. This is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do, but I need help to stay in school.

I'm raising funds to urgently pay my fall 2025 semester tuition so that I can stay in school and finish the remaining two semesters left to graduate (Winter 2026 and Summer 2026). To complete my degree, I will eventually need about $27,000, but the most urgent need right now is my Fall 2025 balance of $11,381, and because I can’t pay it, I have already been deregistered from my Winter 2026 semester courses. I have until the 5th of January 2026 to pay it before I am allowed to register

I only have six courses left before I graduate, 4 courses in Winter 2026 and 2 courses in Summer 2026, and these are my last semesters. I work part-time during the school year, but it’s not enough to cover tuition, and I didn’t receive any bursaries this school year. After the Fall tuition is cleared, I will still need help with the Winter 2026 and Summer 2026 tuition so I can complete my last 6 courses, I’m taking this one step at a time. Right now, paying the Fall 2025 tuition balance is the urgent need and also what makes everything else possible.

I am international student and in my final year, and every step of this journey has been carried by sacrifice, prayer, and the belief that my education would open doors not only for me, but for my family as well.

Being deregistered has serious consequences for me:

Things took a difficult turn when my sponsor, my dad couldn’t support my tuition any longer eversince the COVID pandemic affected our family business. He has always been the one supporting my dream, even when it stretched him beyond his limits. Watching him struggle, knowing how much he wants to help but no longer can, has been heartbreaking. I have also been working multiple jobs during the summer and part time during the school sessions to support myself and tuition, budgeting carefully, and applying for scholarships/bursaries, but it still hasn’t been enough. Now, the tuition I owe has become something I simply cannot cover on my own. I am now at a point where I urgently need help to settle my Fall tuition so I can be registered for Winter semester and stay on track to finish my degree.

Paying this $11,381 Fall tuition is urgent. Once I can pay it, I will be able to:
