Help for McClain family medical expenses.

Hello all,

We hope this finds you all well. We know times are hard and many have been affected by so many setbacks and unfortunate life events.

As with us and Amy's unexpected cancer we are finding the need to reach out.

As many know I am in need of bi-lateral knee replacement. This procedure needs to happen sooner than later. Surgery is scheduled for February 3 @ 10:45am.

Not too many employers are willing to hire someone and have them take time off for surgery and rehabilitation.

The pain has taken control of our lives. I'm unable to be active with my daughters. I'd like to be able to get back into coaching the various sports that I enjoyed playing and has led to this pain!! ;-)

Please understand that we really do not like asking for help. The last 6 months have put us in some pretty difficult situations.

It is so hard to ask for help when so many others need our help or help.

If times are hard, we get it, we do not expect anyone who is struggling as well to help. But some people may know someone who knows someone who can help out and it's not a burden.

All funds will be to pay our out-of-pocket expenses that insurance does not cover. As we learned with Amy's situation, I was not on the same page as the insurance company. Was double what I thought it was going to be.

Any extra we will look at paying forward for others.
