On July 4th, 2023, Daniel Eisenberg experienced a tragic boating accident which instantly paralyzed him. Since that day almost 2 years ago, Daniel has undergone numerous extensive procedures, holding onto hope that he would one day walk again.
While he has fought through every challenge with resilience, the past four months have been devastating as he was hospitalized from Thanksgiving through New Year’s. Daniel is now bedbound, unable to use his wheelchair, and suffering from severe chronic pain that doctors cannot explain. In his most recent surgery just two weeks ago, his doctors told him that his condition is rapidly deteriorating.
We are asking for help to raise funds for Daniel to cover the high cost of ongoing daily care. We desperately hope that having access to more funds can help save Daniel’s life.
Daniel has always been someone who gives back. During his adolescence, he created the annual "Lights on Evergreen" Christmas light show in memory of his beloved mother, Elena. Through his passion and dedication, he raised over $50,000 for the American Heart Association-bringing joy and hope to so many. Now, in the month of February, which is American Heart Month, we ask that you remember the light and happiness Daniel brought into your life.
