A Loving Tribute to Mark, Supporting Dixie.

Hi everyone,

With a heavy heart, I'm sharing the news of the passing of Mark Scahel, the beloved husband of Dixie and father to his boys. After a courageous battle with cancer, Mark passed away on Saturday, February 15th. Dixie and her family are devastated by this loss and are facing an incredibly difficult time.

Mark was a loving, kind, funny, strong, faithful, husband, father, and friend to many. He fought his illness with incredible strength and grace, and his spirit remained strong throughout his battle. Dixie stood by his side every step of the way, providing unwavering love and support.

Now, Dixie is navigating this unimaginable grief while also facing the practical challenges that come with such a profound loss. In addition to the emotional burden, Dixie is now responsible for the household expenses, funeral arrangements and more. The financial strain of his illness has also added to the burden.

I'm starting this GoFundMe campaign to help Dixie during this incredibly challenging time. Our goal is to raise enough money to help cover outstanding medical bills, funeral expenses, immediate living expenses, grief counseling, and any other needs the family may have. This will allow Dixie to focus on grieving and healing without the added stress of immediate financial burdens.
