Two boys one heart, meeting the O’Shea’s
Donation protected

Adding some more to this:
Our family, the Royalty family, consists of four members - Tyler, who is the father, Cheyenne, the mother, Leo, our 4-year-old son, and Emma, our 2-year-old daughter. Leo, our firstborn, was born with a rare heart condition called HLHS, which means he was born with only half a heart. At 10 months old, Leo went into heart failure and we started the process of heart transplant. At 18 months old he was listed at the top of the national transplant list 1A. The wait for a toddler heart can be excruciatingly long, and sometimes, unfortunately, it never comes at all.
We were overjoyed when, just a week later, we received an unexpected call that a match had been found for Leo. The timing was miraculous and truly a testament to the power of prayer. We were not given any details about the donor - no gender, age, race, or location. The standard protocol is to wait a year before reaching out to the donor family, and after our year, I decided to contact them, and to my surprise, they responded.
The donor family graciously invited us to spend a week with them in New Hampshire to honor the gift that saved Leo's life. This marks the third anniversary of the life we gained, and the angel heaven received. Meeting Ciaran's parents and brother Liam is an honor, and I am deeply touched by the relationship we have formed. It is important for me to express my gratitude and share in their grief and loss.
I am a full-time mother due to circumstances. The need for constant medical appointments and monitoring of Leo's health has prevented us from having dual incomes. Despite Leo's father working at least 70 hours a week, he still participates in frequent hospital visits. We have been fortunate to have made it this far without seeking assistance.
Unfortunately, our current financial situation does not permit us to take this trip. I wish to spend five days with our donor family, covering expenses for transportation, food, and accommodation.
Added some pictures from when he had transplant, donor family, Ciaran(donor), and our family.
We are trying to raise money to be able to go meet our donor family for the first time in person. This year will be the 3rd anniversary of the transplant and Ciaran’s gift. We are too excited to finally be able to plan something to go meet them! What better way to celebrate this year, but to be there with them! We want to be able to hug the people who saved our son 3 years ago. Also what better way to celebrate but to see and hug our Leo who has their precious baby’s heart. This is a once in a lifetime experience. Anything helps us. We can not wait for this!
