Hi River Rats fans!
Like many others in our community, our team has been greatly impacted by the current state of our world due to COVID-19. We have been a part of the Minneapolis community for over 40 years, providing free, family entertainment every summer, and we thrive off of our amazing fans who attend our shows throughout the summers. We wouldn’t be where we are today without you!
To that end, we have seen a large financial impact due to the current state of the pandemic. As you may be aware, we were unable to perform our shows this year. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, we fund our team solely on fundraising, sponsorships and donations from our shows. Without being able to ski, we lost out on a lot of income that we receive in a normal ski season.
We are well aware that Covid-19 has impacted the members of our community in many ways, including financially, but we have no choice but to reach out for help. Whether you are able to donate $200 or $5, any bit helps and is greatly appreciated. The team still incurs a lot of expenses throughout the year even though we have not been able to ski and perform our shows.
