Dream Project – Personalized Books for Children

Hi, I'm Tatjana - a mom, a dreamer, and someone who still believes in the magic of books and imagination. And I’m here to share with you the dream I’ve carried in my heart, hoping you'd be the one to help me make it come true.

For the past year, I’ve been working on building something special - a small publishing company that creates beautiful, personalized books where every child (and even parents or entire families!) become the heroes of their own story.

As a mom of two little boys - ages 3.5 and 1.5 - I know firsthand how wild and wonderful a child’s imagination can be. Their curiosity is endless, their sense of wonder magical… but it’s not always easy to keep their attention. And that’s where these books come in! What could be more captivating to a child than opening a storybook and seeing themselves on the page? Or their brother, their mom, their dad? What adventure could be more powerful than one they live themselves - sailing through fairytales, visiting ancient lands, discovering magical forests or saving the day?

Because when a child sees themselves in a story, something magical happens, the world opens up! They feel seen. They believe in themselves - they can do anything, be anyone. Suddenly, reading isn’t just reading - it’s exploring, dreaming, imagining, growing. And when that experience is shared, when a parent and child read together and see themselves as heroes side by side, it becomes something truly unforgettable.

This project is about wonder, imagination, love - and a return to storytelling that connects. I love literature. I love children. I love their inner world, and I want to help bring that world closer to ours, while gently inviting them into the richness of culture, storytelling, and emotional depth.

But making high-quality personalized books is a big and costly challenge. Each story needs unique illustrations, thoughtful writing, and a smart, interactive website so families can easily create their own books. Therefore, I'd really use a hand here, as to bring this dream to life I need:

And this doesn’t even include other production, legal, and marketing costs or just the reality of competing in a tough market, but these are first big steps.

I do believe in this project with all my heart. I believe that stories can shape children. That shared reading can bring families closer, that books can help build wonder, confidence, and joy. I’m doing everything I can on my own - writing, planning, testing -but I can’t do this without help.
