Humphrey Muhalia is the son of a good friend of mine who lives in Nairobi, Kenya, Samson Muhalia. Samson does amazing work for a nonprofit in Nairobi helping build schools and latrines.

Like any father, Samson is trying to provide the best life he can for his son.
He has asked me to help him raise the tuition for his university education.
A little about Humphrey:

Humphrey graduated in 2012 from the Kenyan Certificate of Secondary Education. He has a strong interest in mathematics and science, but has also excelled in his English study. His KCSE certificate also reflects his commitment to study in his Head Teacher’s comments that he was a very good student, hardworking, with potential for further study.
His performance in the KCSE exams means he has been shortlisted for a place at Jomo Kenyatta University, studying Information Technology in 2015. He aspires to be a computer engineer.
This year he has been employed at Marron Academy in Uasin Gishu County, teaching mathematics, geography and physics to secondary students.
Humphrey has a natural aptitude for engineering, and is often able to repair broken household
items and watches. This natural curiosity and patience will see him excel in this area of study. He
is also a skilled carpenter.
Humphrey was accepted to university in 2014 but his family was unable to cover the tuition fees. He has now been offered a place for 2015 which he is very keen to take, but requires assistance in raising the fees.
The fees for one year is Ksh120,000 ($US1333). The course takes four years to complete.
I would be very grateful for any support that can be offered towards reaching this goal and seeing
his son pursue his dream.
