Hi, my name is Amy. I'm a full-time nurse and also pick up bartending shifts once or twice a week just to try and keep things going. I’ve always worked hard to provide for my family, but lately, things have become more than I can handle alone.

I’m several months behind on my mortgage, credit cards, and household bills. My kids father, Allen, is currently unable to work due to multiple recent eye surgeries, and we’re doing our best to get through this challenging time. Our son, Caleb, is graduating from high school this month — something we’re so proud of — but it’s been hard to even enjoy that moment because of the financial stress hanging over us.

I’m not someone who likes to ask for help, but I’m reaching out now because I truly need it. I’m overwhelmed and just trying to stay afloat. This fundraiser is my effort to catch up on some of these bills, get our home out of danger, and give my family a chance to breathe again.
