Our dear friend, Troy Green, was recently the victim of a tragic act of violence at his home in Athens, Alabama. During a dispute, Troy was shot and gravely injured. He now faces an incredibly long and challenging road to recovery.
Troy is in critical condition, fighting to heal from his injuries. Once he is stable, he will require extensive therapy in a specialized rehabilitation facility to regain his strength and rebuild his life. The emotional, physical, and financial toll of this situation is overwhelming.
Troy is no stranger to sacrifice. He honorably served as a Combat Engineer in the United State Army and deployed to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Now a disabled veteran, he has continued his life of service by working in the medical field, helping others in their time of need.
Standing faithfully by his side is his wife, Chelsea Green. She has been a constant source of strength, care, and hope throughout this unimaginable ordeal. Chelsea is doing everything she can to support Troy while also facing the enormous stress and uncertainty brought on by this tragedy. She cannot do it alone. We are asking for your support to help ease the financial burden on Troy and Chelsea during this critical time. All donations will go directly to them to assist with medical expenses, rehabilitation, and ongoing care. Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a meaningful difference. If you’re unable to give, please consider sharing this campaign with others.
Thank you for your compassion, generosity, and support as Troy fights to recover.
