Help All Good Dogs Rescue Save Our First Pup

We are All Good Dogs Rescue, a brand-new rescue in North Carolina, working to build the resources we need to save dogs in need. We had planned to fundraise before taking in our first dog—but then we got the call.

A desperate plea came in about a puppy living in heartbreaking conditions. Her owner had let two unaltered dogs have a litter. Tragically, all of them died except for this little girl. For months, she was advertised for sale without success—until her owner finally agreed to surrender her to us.

At nearly 6 months old, this puppy had spent her most of her life confined to a tiny pen. Based on the state of her coat we believe she was standing and sleeping on her own urine and feces.

When we met her, she reeked—a heavy mix of cigarette smoke, urine, and, strangely enough, mashed potatoes. Her fur was so matted with waste that it took two baths and a full shave for the stench of neglect to begin to fade.

Now, she needs medical care—her spay surgery is our first priority. At the same time, we’re working to build a safety net for future rescues by raising funds for emergency medical expenses and other urgent needs. We would also like to raise money to get her mom spayed so she never has to endure a traumatic birth.

Every dollar you give will help this puppy get the fresh start she deserves, and will also help us be ready to save more dogs in crisis.

All Good Dogs Rescue is registered as a nonprofit with the State of North Carolina. We are currently awaiting our federal 501(c)(3) determination, which we expect within the next few months.

Founded by Jean Mosher, All Good Dogs Rescue grew out of eight years of rescue experience and over 100 dogs successfully placed into loving homes. Jean saw the need for a rescue built on transparency, compassion, and community—one that balances the urgency of saving lives with careful medical care and thoughtful adopter matching.
