Christmas for our sister’s grandkids

UPDATE! My little sister passed away from cancer. She thought she had at least six months but turned into one month. Sister leaves behind a daughter who misses her so much and two grandkids, ages 14 and 10, boy and girl. Let’s help my niece give them a Christmas, their first without grandma. My niece is a single mother and needs help to catch up on bills since she missed so much work when her mom was alive and fighting with her cancer. Please consider donating for Christmas and Bills. Update: Our Sister Sylvia passed away this morning. Her fight with cancer is over, she is with our Heavenly Father now. Our niece needs help financially to give her mother a proper burial , if you can please donate. Love your family everyday. Thank you and much love to everyone who has donated.

Hi, My name is Delia. I started this fund raiser for our little sister Sylvia Doerr! She’s 56 and a grandma of two. She has a son (Corey) and daughter (Monica) her daughter has the two children. Our little sister has been diagnosed with cancer, it’s at stage 4, it has spread fast through out her body, it has caused five lesions to grow on the brain. It’s high risk to do surgery to remove the lesions, she has swelling on the brain and it’s causing headaches, vision problems and confusion and the ability to walk steady. Sister is now home on hospice, she will continue to take medication to help keep the swelling down and pain medicine, she was told she can have radiation and chemo therapy if she chooses to but they said her cancer is to advanced that it won’t cure her but prolong her life, not by much though, the radiation can help to keep the swelling down, the chemo to kill some of the cancer. She was asked what she wanted and she said: to live. She understands she has cancer but some days she’s so confused that she’ll say things like: I think I caught some sort of a bug that’s making me feel ill. Our sister had been looking for work before she got super sick and ended up in the hospital, Because she wasn’t working she has no insurance, her daughter works full time, pays her bills, raising her two kids and now has mom to care for, she will need lots of help. Any funds given will help pay for the hospital stay. Although she was taken to a local hospital in Lansing MI she was transported to a hospital in Flint MI. She had many test done, MRI, Biopsy, CT Scans, blood work, the bills will be coming. It pains me to think this, more so to say it but eventually they will need funds to lay their mother to rest. The drs told my sister she has about 6 to 12 months but my sister wants to try radiation. Now let me tell you, I’m a big believer of our Father in heaven and with lots of prayer God can do all things. Our family, including our parents will continue to pray hard for our little sister but in the mean time our niece will need help financially. So I ask for what ever you can give, every little bit will help. Other ways to help are to share this link, and to pray for our sister.
