Thomaston Mural

Donation protected
In early 2020, the town of Thomaston agreed to fund the preparation of the stucco walls of the Thomaston Grocery for a large-scale mural.

From June through August, I donated approximately 150 hours to design and execute Phase 1 of the painted mural on the north wall. Phase 1 was enthusiastically received. Many asked that I continue the mural on the east and west sides of the building for Phase 2.  Can you help make that possible?  The theme of a sidewalk scene with historical figures and quintessentially Thomaston architectural and landscape elements is envisioned for Phase 2.

Any support would be welcome and gratefully received, making this truly a community supported public art project. For donations of $150 or more, I will paint donors names on the (painted!) bricks that are incorporated in the mural. Be sure to leave the name you would like to have painted in the donation form.

The full mural will be completed in the summer of 2021 with full funding.
Please consider being a patron of Thomaston's public art initiative.  Murals are known to generate interest, tourism and revitalization to urban and rural settings alike.
