The Tracey and Family Support Fund

Dear friends and community,

I hope this message finds you well. Today, I am reaching out to ask for your support for a dear friend and colleague, Tracey. Tracey is a remarkable person who has dedicated her life to serving others, especially veterans in need. She has been helping veterans use their educational benefits at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University - Daytona Beach Campus since 2019, ensuring the financial well-being of hundreds of military-connected students and their families. Her professionalism, collegiality, and dedication to her work have garnered the admiration of our students and coworkers. Tracey has a strong connection to the military community, as her unwavering passion to help veterans comes from being the daughter of a veteran. She is also a proud mother of two young children who would undoubtedly describe their mother as a woman with a warm smile, infectious laughter, and unwavering optimism.

Tragically, Tracey has been struggling with a severe form of cancer, which has come back worse after being in remission. This news has come as a shock to all of us, and we are deeply saddened to see her facing this battle once again. Tracey is a fighter, but the road ahead will be even more challenging, both physically and emotionally.

The medical expenses, as well as the cost of caring for her children while she undergoes treatment, will be significant. To make matters worse, Tracey and her loving husband just had some bad luck with their vehicles, which has added to their financial burden. This is where we come in. As a community, we feel that it is our duty to come together, and support Tracey and her family during this difficult time. Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a huge difference, and will be greatly appreciated. Your generosity will provide Tracey and her family with the financial support they need to focus on her treatment and recovery.

Tracey has touched so many lives, and it is our turn to repay the kindness and compassion she has shown us and the veteran community.
