The Sweet Side of Crazy- A film about addiction

Hi! My name is Kaylee, and I’m the producer of The Sweet Side of Crazy which is a documentary about the lasting effect of addiction. This story is an opportunity to shed more light into those affected by addiction in a way that humanizes and offers grace for the people who are struggling with it. Based on the Blog by Kandy Milette whose mother struggled with substance abuse for most of her life. Despite the pain addiction brought into Kandy’s life, her story is one of forgiveness and compassion for her mother.

We are asking for your help in getting this film into festivals for the 2024 season. Your donation will go to hiring a colorist to put the final touches on the films look, sound mixing services, as well as the cost of applying to festivals (which is much more expensive than you’d think).

Anything leftover will go to a nonprofit supporting addiction recovery.
