The Gunters know God is Greater than any tragedy
The Gunter family has experienced their far share of heart aching life events in the past few years. Last night two catastrophic tornadoes ripped through Jones County, one being a direct hit to their home. They lost everything. They have NOTHING.
Please remember Joe in prayers as he is in the hospital awaiting surgery (today, Monday April 13th) to fix his left hand. The plastic surgeon has placed several staples all over his body to close lacerations. He has a hematoma to the head. He has transverse process fractures to the L4 & L5 in his back. Hopefully, a brace will fix this. He is in a lot of pain. He is alive! These things will heal in time. (He just got in from a pipeline job in Tx early Saturday morning.)
Due to Coronavirus protocol, he is at the hospital alone. Jenny had to leave within 30 minutes of arriving in the ambulance. Pray for her as she is not able to be there with him.
Nothing is left of their home or vehicles to salvage. Jenny and the girls sought shelter at the neighbor’s house, but Joe stayed behind. It’s is incomprehensible how he survived!
But God!!
We praise God for sparing the Gunter family, especially Joe. Material things can be replaced. We are so very grateful for God’s protection today!
The family is so thankful for every hand that helped them today, especially those that risked their own safety to get Joe out and to an ambulance.
Jenny says, “We are absolutely thankful and blessed!”
Please donate if you feel led. And more than anything, please pray for this precious family.
