Aaron William Forbes, 27, passed away on Sunday, August 16, 2020 in Norfolk, VA.
Aaron was born on February 8, 1993 in Virginia Beach, VA. He was raised in Norfolk, VA where he attended and graduated from Booker T. Washington High School in 2011. He attended Norfolk Fire-Rescue Training Center where he trained to be a fire fighter. During and after training, he was employed with various companies but was most excited about preparing to join the Seafarers International Union early next year and his most recent employer NightOwl Tactical Security.
He was a member of Faith Deliverance Christian Center, he served on the youth and male usher board and participated on the church’s basketball team. His favorite scripture was Revelations 5:13; And I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and in the sea, and all that is in them, saying, “To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be blessing and honor and glory and might forever and ever!”
Aaron was a fun-loving person who loved life and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends playing video games, cracking jokes and last but not least dancing. Aaron LOVED to dance! Also, he was an avid Baltimore Ravens fan.
Those left to cherish his precious memories include his three children Cherish A. Forbes (4), Royalty A. Forbes (3) and Kairo Z. Forbes (1). His mother Lorinda Doxie-Forbes, his brother Barry R. Forbes Jr, his maternal grandmother Lydia Doxie and a host of family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his father Barry R. Forbes Sr., paternal grandparents and maternal grandfather.
100% of funds will be donated to the family and children of Aaron W. Forbes. His life was taken suddenly and he was the sole provider for his children's personal and educational needs.
